It’s a bit nerve-wracking to shoot a fellow photographer’s wedding, especially when they are pretty much your mentors. That being said, Rich and Christine’s Thai wedding could not have been more heartwarming and perfect. These two have so much love for each other it can’t even be contained between the two of them. It spreads out to everyone around them, making everyone they come into contact with feel welcome, loved, and special.
It was genuinely surprising when, after a post-wedding dinner outing, I found out that Rich and Christine were not planning on having anyone shoot their Thai wedding. I immediately volunteered and couldn’t take no for an answer. I am so lucky to have these two in my life, it was the very least I could do to repay them for all they’ve done for me.
The day started early at the beautiful Wat Thai temple in North Hollywood. Seriously, this place is like a little Thai oasis in the city. Going from San Dimas to North Hollywood on a Friday morning can be a little crazy, luckily once I got to the temple the surroundings we just as peaceful as could be.
The yellow gave everything such a summery feel. LOVE!
The cutest guest gifts, ever!
Guest were required to take their shoes off before entering the temple. I bought socks just for this event! 🙂
These two just exude happiness and joy. They are so wonderful.
Thai water blessing. Christine’s Mom, Ann-Marie, gives Christine her blessing.
