So, I’m a couple months behind on blogging, that’s okay right?
I am lucky enough to run Star Thrower Photography, the product of a lifelong dream, as well as associate shoot weddings for The Yodsukars. When they asked me to shoot Matthew & Jennifer’s quaint wedding at The 1909 in May I was so happy. I don’t know what it is about Topanga Canyon but it seems like there are no bad locations up there. Everything has its own little quirks and personality. The 1909 is no different. It is amazing! The white walls and exposed rafters made my heart leap. It was a beautiful location to match a beautiful couple. Matthew and Jennifer’s ceremony was held on the deck of the 1909 with a group of friends and family before everyone headed up the gorgeous wood stairs to the reception.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Mad Lib notes to the bride and groom! So wonderful!
I just die when I see full walls of windows – GORGEOUS!
Jennifer and Matthew had personalized cookies with their initials laid out on the table. Theirs was a little wedding cake with a stick figure bride and groom. They were so cute and looked delicious!
Matthew and Jennifer’s wedding was full of personal touches that made the day wonderful. I loved the cookies, but their cake topper was to die for!
